Debi Harrington developed a love for botanicals while growing up in rural Mississippi and Missouri. After marrying her High School sweetheart, she moved to New Mexico, where she quickly discovered that there were very few plants that those three states had in common! She was invited to join an NGC Garden Club in 1978, and with the exception of a few years, has been a member since. She became an NGC Judge in 2013 and has been a Master Judge since 2015. Debi is also an Accredited Daylily Judge and Daylily Garden Judge. She enjoys everything about floral design, loves to share her passion for both Floral Design and Horticulture and loves judging throughout the United States. Debi and her husband, John, reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico, have been married 50 years, have two adult children, seven grandchildren, a German Shepherd name Greta and two exotic rescue parrots named Bobbin and Rosie.
